Who this service is for
Our £99 accounts are built for UK limited companies with annual turnover under £5,000, such as:
- New companies in their first year of trading
- Side businesses run alongside a full-time job
- Small creative, consultancy or online businesses that are still growing
- Companies that only traded for part of the year
If your turnover was £5,000 or more, see our £199 limited company accounts. If the company didn’t trade at all, it may be dormant – see dormant company accounts for £69.
Even small companies have to file
Every UK limited company must file annual accounts with Companies House, however small its turnover. Most trading companies must also file a Company Tax Return with HMRC. Being small doesn’t mean the deadlines or penalties are any smaller – a set of accounts filed just one day late attracts an automatic £150 penalty from Companies House.

Frequently asked questions
Is “turnover” the same as profit?
No. Turnover is the total income your company received from sales before any expenses are taken off. Profit is what’s left after expenses. Our £99 service is for companies whose turnover – not profit – was under £5,000 for the year.
What if my turnover goes over £5,000 next year?
No problem. Next year we’ll simply move you to our £199 limited company accounts, and we’ll always tell you the price before we start.
My company is new. When are my first accounts due?
A new private limited company’s first accounts are due at Companies House 21 months after the date it was registered. After that, accounts are due 9 months after the end of each financial year.
